This site contains some of the works of the famous preacher of the Great Awakening, George Whitefield. While it is to be regretted that the vast majority of his sermons and works have been lost in history, we still have a small piece of his legacy that we hope to preserve on this site.
This website is not intended to exalt or glorify Mr. Whitefield in any way. He was a servant of Jesus Christ and he himself would always give all glory to the Lord in everything. Therefore the purpose of this site is to give glory to God through the testimonies, writings, and work that came to the world through the means of God's power working through His servant. Whitefield was just a man, made of the same lump of clay as us all. Yet God used him mightily as an ambassador of Christ to the perishing and as an instrument of revival.
Our intention is to help stir up in the hearts of Christians everywhere the same passion, the same hunger, the same devotion, and the same anointed preaching, that came through George Whitefield to the world, resulting in one of the greatest revivals the world has ever seen. May we be stirred, encouraged, and conviction by what God did through Whitefield, but may our eyes ever be on the only worthy One, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith!
